Dining Room Server
Essential Functions:
- Must be passionate about food and beverage and dedicated to providing unparalleled hospitality to all of our guests.
- Responsible for coordinating an entire station and communicating with front and back of the house personnel to provide a dining experience that satisfies guest. Takes personal responsibility of the entire guest experience.
- Greet Guests and present with menu.
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes, making suggestions and answering questions regarding food, beverages and service.
- Take orders from guests, relay to kitchen and bartender as appropriate.
- Serve courses from the kitchen and service areas promptly ensuring accuracy of order.
- Observe diners to ensure that guests are satisfied with food and service. Respond to any additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed.
- Total bill, present and accept payment.
- Perform assigned sidework before and after shift.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work weekends and all major holidays.
- Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
- Must have 2-3 years prior fine dining experience.
- High degree of service orientation, positive attitude and ability to multi-task.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be dependable and reliable.
- Outstanding people skills.
